Background: Mr. Mustafa Samit, the Iranian Ambassador to Russia, arrives at the Kremlin to present his credentials. Kliment Voroshilov, President of the USSR Supreme Soviet Presaedium receives the ambassador. As he presents his credentials, Mr. Samii makes a short speech and the Russian President replies. The development of good neighbour relationships between the USSR and Iran is held out by Russia as an example that peaceful co-existence and co-operation between countries wi difference state and social systems.
