SYNOPSIS: Mexico, playing from left to right, kicked off and enjoyed domination of the midfield during the first few minutes.
Before the Hungarians could settle down and establish their marking patterns, and the fleet-footed Mexicans took play deep into their territory.
After only 5 minutes Mexican striker Paco Solis had the ball in the Hungarian net.
However, the Hungarians quickly recovered.
They re-gained their famed composure and set about playing the patient, thoughtful football for which they are renown.
The Hungarians buzzed. Defenders attacked -- strikers raced back to help in defence. They built their momentum and in the 39th minute Toroscik left the Mexican defence flatfooted. He ran between defenders Galindez and Guzman and scored with a powerful shot to make it 1-1.
The Hungarians superb fitness enabled them to keep up the pressure for the rest of the match.
Although Mexico managed to stop them form scoring, they were never able to get back in the game.
