After recently visiting Greece, President Nasser of the UAR arrived in Yugoslavia June 13 for a week of talks with President Tito. Accompanying President Nasser as he sailed into Pula harbour in his yacht "All Houria" were his wife and four children, UAR Minister of the Interior Zackariah Mohyedin and his colleague, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mahmoud Fawzi.
A 42-gun salute welcomed the visitors and there to greet them was President Tito and his wife - Jovanka Broz. Following the welcoming ceremonies, the two Presidents sailed off to begin their talks on the island of Brioni.
It is the 7th meeting between President Tito and Nasser - and the latter's 3rd visit to Yugoslavia. They are now - according to reports - discussing the world situation - and in particular the position of then uncommitted countries - after the breakdown of the Paris Summit.
