Britain's star singer Frankie Vaughan caused something of a stampede at Olympia, London, Aug 11 when he arrived to open the Boys and Girls Exhibition. Teen-age fans were crushed in their struggle to be near their 'idol'. First-aid attendants were called in to deal with a few injured cases.

The exhibition caters for the young, and the 'young at heart'. Everything to delight, amuse, interest and fascinate imaginative youth is displayed.

Surplus energy could be worked off on trampolines, under the watchful eye of an instructor. Cooking and make-up demonstrations for the "grown-up" teen-age girls, an under-water warfare demonstration by the Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force guided missiles for the "aggressive male".

When just looking at things began to pall, they turned what was meant to be a record theatre into a dance. But there's one world of comfort for parents who have to go along--there's a "Parents Casis" where they can escape from it all.
