Also shows pickets sitting in at the Justice Department on MONDAY, MARCH 8. They were similarly demanding federal action and intervention in Alabama.

Background: The White House pickets numbered about 700, the largest group to picket the White House in months.They represented numerous civil rights groups, church groups, civic organizations and students groups from colleges in the area.The march was entirely orderly, although at one point two automobiles from the American Nazi Party drove past.George Lincoln Rockwell, the American Nazi leader was in one.
The Justice Department demonstrators sat-in as shown on Monday.Later, guards pulled them out and removed them.It happened all over again on Tuesday (that film coming).These demonstrators, apparently not representing any formal group, were demanding that the Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach send federal agents into Alabama to protect the demonstrators there.
