    At the Jakarta Gold Club on Tuesday (12 June, Indonesian President Suharto teed off in a friendly game with visiting Burmese Prime Minister Ne Win.

    The Burmese Premier, on a four-day official visit to Indonesia, was combining top level talks with relaxation during the day. He had earlier received he Governor of jakarta, Ali Sadikin, at the State Guest House near the Presidential Palace.

    The most important point to come out of the Burmese leader's visit to far has been his call for a conference of Southeast Asian nations in an effort to create peace and stability in the region. Ne Win has had a heavy round of official engagements during his time in Indonesia. It was believed he would be discussing Burma's intention of buying Indonesian crude oil before returning to Rangoon on Thursday (14 June).
