Background: The new Governor of Katanga Province in Congo-Kinshasa. M. Henri Takizala, recently received the keys to Lubumbashi in a ceremony there.

The ceremony was held at Lubumbashi airport after the Governor flew in with his wife. They were greeted by army officers and officials before M. Takizala, a former Governor of Kivu Province, inspected a guard of honour. The Governor heard a welcoming speech by a town official, and was presented with the symbolic key on a cushion.
