    DEMONSTRATORS IN MANY COUNTRIES TODAY (WEDNESDAY) SHOWED THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE 200,000-STRONG "FREEDOM MARCH" ON WASHINGTON.AND IN EUROPE, AS IN AMERICA, THE CLIMAX TO THIS YEAR'S CIVIL RIGHTS CAMPAIGN WAS STAGED IN AN ORDERLY, PEACEFUL MANNER.

    PETITIONS TO PRESIDENT KENNEDY, SEEKING EQUAL RIGHTS FOR NEGROES, WERE PRESENTED IN LONDON AT THE AMERICAN EMBASSY AND, IN MUNICH, AT THE U.S.CONSULATE.

    THE LONDON DEMONSTRATION WAS HELD BY DELEGATES OF AFRO-ASIAN, WEST INDIAN AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS.THEIR PETITION SAID THAT RACIAL DISCRIMINATION NOT ONLY VIOLATED THE AMERICAN CONSTITUTION BUT ALSO THE UNITED NATIONS DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS.

    LEADING THE MUNICH MARCHERS WAS A NEGRO EX-PROFESSIONAL BOXER, MR.AL HOOSMAN, WITH A NEGRO VOCALIST, MISS OLIVE MOOREFIELD, AMONG THE GROUP.THE DEPUTY CONSUL-GENERAL, MR.NEIL RUGE, WHO RECEIVED THEIR PETITION, SAID AMERICANS HOPED THE FREEDOM MARCH WOULD PROVE AN IMPORTANT STEP TOWARDS SOLVING THE RACIAL PROBLEM.
