The Indonesian Prime Minister, Dr. Djuanda Kartawidjaja, stopped over in Rangoon June 26 for one day on the first leg of his 40-day tour of India, the Soviet Union and East European countries.
He took off from Rangoon June 27 in an Indonesian airforce plane for India where he will have talks with Indian leaders before proceeding to Moscow. Dr. Djuanda is returning a visit to Indonesia earlier this year of Soviet Prime Minister Khrushchev.
During his one-day stopover in Rangoon, Dr. Djuanda had talks with Burmese Prime Minister U Nu and other Burmese leaders. The Burmese Prime Minister and Mrs. Nu accompanied the Indonesian Prime Minister and Mrs. Djuanda to the Rangoon airport and saw the visitors off.
