    The Minister of Foreign Affairs for the People's Republic of the Congo, Mr. Charles-David Ganao, met Premier Chou En-lai and other officials of The People's Republic of China when he arrived in Peking on Wednesday (13 June).

    Mr. Ganao was on a two-day visit to Peking. While there, he held talks with the Director and Deputy Director of the African Affairs Department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, and Mr. Abdul-Kader Diawara, the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of the Congo in Peking.

    At a meeting with Premier Chou En-lai before he left, Mr. Ganao also had talks with the Minister of Economic Relations with Foreign Countries, Fang Yi, and the Vice-Foreign Minister, Ho Ying.

    SYNOPSIS: Premier Chou En-lai of The People's Republic of China greeted Mr. Charles-David Ganao, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of the Congo when he arrived in Peking on Wednesday. Mr. Ganao's visit lasted for two days.

    At the meeting with the Premier, Mr. Ganao also met the Minister of Economic Relations with Foreign Countries, Mr. Fang Yi, and the Republic's Vice-Foreign Minister, Mr. Ho Ying. The meeting was friendly and cordial.

    Before he left Peking, Mr. Ganao had talks with the director and deputy director of the African Affairs Department of the People's Republic Foreign Ministry, and the Charge d'Affairs of the Embassy of the People's Republic of the Congo in Peking.
