SYNOPSIS: After the man was overpowered, the airliner was able to return to Islamabad with its 231 passengers. Eye witnesses said the hi-jacker had produced the grenade, then demanded the flight be diverted. As he made his demand, he was seized by another passenger and the grenade went off.
