    The Attorney General of the United States, Robert Kennedy, now touring the South met with the Governor of Alabama, George Wallace today 25 April 1963.

    Eighteen persons who demonstrated against Mr.Kennedy were arrested and additional police guards in the area of the state capital of Montgomery.

    Wednesday (24 April) Mr.Kennedy met with the press at Montgomery and was questioned closely about possible government action in the current segregation situation.The Attorney General stated several times that he and his department would uphold the Federal law.
