    INDONESIA'S PRESIDENT SUKARNO OFFICIALLY OPENED THE FIRST "GAMES OF THE NEW EMERGING FORCES" IN JAKARTA ON SUNDAY. A NEAR CAPACITY CROWD PACKED THE ASIAN GAMES MAIN STADIUM IN THE INDONESIAN CAPITAL TO WATCH THE CEREMONY.

    AMONG THE COMPETITORS IN JAKARTA FOR THE GAMES THERE ARE ECHOES OF THE BITTER DISPUTES THAT MARRED THE ASIAN GAMES.
