Background: A storage tank of liquid propane exploded in Bayonne, New Jersey, December 28, injuring four men, one of them critically .
Three men were loading a small tank when it ignited and set off a big storage tank sending flames up 1,000 feet.
Windows over a large area were shattered, and police evacuated all hones, near the burning plant.
Fire brigades of Bayonne and Jersey City were sent to the scene to keep the flames from reaching the huge 50,000-gallon tanks of fuel in the storage dump, some within 100 feet of the fire. At least nine 5,000-gallon tanks of the highly flammable liquefied gas caught fire.
