    THEY WERE INSPECTED BY UNITED NATIONS GENERAL KcKEOWN, WHO TALKED WITH WING COMMANDER SINGH, INDIAN AIRFORCE CONTINGENT COMMANDER; AND WING COMMANDER SUARES, COMMANDER OF THE FLIGHT.

    AFTER THE INSPECTION THE INDIAN PILOTS TOOK OFF AND GAVE THE GENERAL A DEMONSTRATION OF THEIR FLYING ABILITY.

    GENERAL McKEOWN HAD EARLIER TOLD A PRESS CONFERENCE THAT "CANBERRAS" AND JET-FIGHTERS WERE EXPECTED FROM SWEDEN, ETHIOPIA, AND INDIA, AND WOULD ENABLE THE UNITED NATIONS FORCES TO RESIST FUTURE ATTACKS FROM THE AIR BY JET FIGHTERS. THE UNITED NATIONS FORCE, HE SAID, ARRIVED IN THE CONGO AS A POLICE FORCE WITHOUT HEAVY ARMAMENT OR FIGHTER SUPPORT
