    Background: President Anwar Sadat of the United Arab Republic (UAR) arrived in Khartoum on Saturday, March 27, to hold talks with General Jaafar El-Nimeiry, the Sudanese Head of State, who was at the airport to meet the Egyptian President. The talks, which are expected to centre on Arab Unity, will also be attended by UAR Minister of War Mohammed Fawzi - who is accompanying President Sadat.
