    IT WAS THE TWO LEADERS FIRST CONFERENCE SINCE MR. CHOU'S ARRIVAL IN ACCRA YESTERDAY. HE WILL STAY A WEEK. NO PROGRAMME FOR THE VISIT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED, BUT THE ITINERARY IS EXPECTED TO INCLUDE TOURS OF THE CITY'S INDUSTRIAL UNDERTAKINGS.

    MR.CHOU, WHO IS MAKING A TWO-MONTH TOUR OF AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST, WAS GREETED AT THE AIRPORT YESTERDAY BY GHANA'S FOREIGN MINISTER, MR.KOJO BOTSIO AND OTHER DIGNITARIES. NORMAL SECURITY MEASURED WERE IN OPERATION AT THE DEFLAGGED AIRPORT AND ALONG THE ROUTED TO THE STATE HOUSE, THE FORMER RESIDENCE OF THE GOVERNOR-GENREAL AND NOW AT THE DISPOSAL OF DISTINGUISHED VISITORS.

    GHANA RADIO, IN ONE OF ITS AUTHORITATIVE COMMENTARIES, SPOKE OF MR.CHOU'S BROTHERLY VISIT AND SAID GHANA AND CHINA HAD BEEN FRIENDS FOR A LONG TIME.
