Singapore was the scene for some exciting golf as Taiwanese veteran. Hsu Chi-San...........seen here teeing off..........held off a chasing pack to win the Singapore Open Tournament.

Burma's May Aye was only one stroke behind the leader along with ben Arda of the Philippines.

Throughout the final round Mya Aye was only a fingertip away from taking the title. However, he could only manage a one-under-par-seventy to finish joint runner up with Arda. He finished on a total of two-hundred-and-seventy-eight.

Arda appeared as if he would win the tournament when he reached the final turn in a blistering three-under-par-thirty-two. However, he could only manage one more birdie on the inward half to finish on a sixty-seven.

Hsu held off both contenders to finish one stroke ahead with a total of two-hundred-and-seventy-seven.

After gaining his first tournament win for the year, Hsu said that before the game he told himself that he would have to "really went to win". His willpower paid off in the form of more than two-hundred-and-twenty-thousand U.S. dollars.
