STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX IN THE ENGLISH SEASIDE TOWN OF BRIGHT ON TODAY (WEDNESDAY) DEMONSTRATED AGAINST U.S. POLICY IN VIETNAM AS THE PRIME MINISTER, MR. HAROLD WILSON RECEIVED AN HONORARY DEGREE.

THE STUDENTS PICKETED THE CEREMONY, AT ONE OF BRITAIN'S NEWEST UNIVERSITIES. THEY HANDED OUT WHITE ARMBANDS TO GUESTS, ASKING THEM TO WEAR THEM AS A SIGN OF PROTEST AT BRITISH BACKING FOR PRESIDENT JOHNSON IN VIETNAM. BUT FEW ACCEPTED THEIR INVITATION.

THE FORMER AUSTRALIAN PRIME MINISTER, SIR ROBERT MENZIES, ALSO RECEIVE DAN HONORARY DEGREE. SO DID TWO AMERICANS....DR. RALPH BUNCHE AND MR. GRAYSON KIRK, PRESIDENT OF COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY.
