On November 14, 1957, Sao Paulo's "Club D'Elite", Harmonia de Tenis, once again promoted the so called " Glamour Girl Ball", during which the city's queen of elegance and charm is chosen among Sao Paulo's high - society girls.

The club : SOCIEDADE HARMONIA DE TENIS, is well known throughout the world for the yearly tenis championships, to which international tenis stars are usually invited. Every year in November, Harmonia de Tenis' associates gather at one of Brazil's most elegant and sophisticated social meetings: the Glamour Girl Ball.

This year, Sao Paulo Glamour Girl, TANIA CINTRA, was chosen among 12 other competitors, all of which, including the winner, are called to present themselves to public without previous notice.

TANIA CINTRA, Glamour Girl 1957, is seen parading on stage among others, and next, receiving titleband, from previous year Glamour Girl, Ana Maria Ovale. From clubs board of directors, Tania received a wonderful pearl necklace, to remind her of this day of beauty when she will have passed the title along the next years winner.
