PREMIER JALLOUD: "What we see to be our position in this situation is we feel we must have the upper hand in dealing with the policies of the companies, and everything in relation to their activities. Not just like any other country, like Teheran or The Arabian Gulf and her protectorates. We are not just looking at the material side of the question, but in the actual partnership which means that we have some powers in the policies of the companies."
