Background: With the withdrawal of South Vietnamese forces from Laos during the past week, the main Laotian operation supply-base, at Khe Sanh, has taken on an unfamiliar role. Where it was intended to provide continuing munitions and other supplies to forces in the field, it is today (Monday 22 March) chiefly a busy centre for the reception of the dead and returning wounded from Laos.

This film, taken by Tran Huu Trong last week, shows vital supplies arriving and being sent out from the base, and also a collection of captured weapons.
