    AND AT GUILDFORD, SOUTH OF LONDON, ON SUNDAY (1 DECEMBER) POLICE CHARGED A MAN WITH MURDER FOLLOWING THE RAID ON A GUILDFORD PUB ON 5 OCTOBER, WHEN FIVE PEOPLE WERE KILLED.

    GUILDFORD POLICE WERE QUESTIONING FEFTEEN PEOPLE ON SUNDAY AND MORE CHARGES ARE EXPECTED. THOSE BEING QUESTIONED WERE ROUNDED UP IN RAIDS IN LONDON OVER THE WEEKEND.

    IN SATURDAY NIGHT'S BOMB RAID, NEARLY A HUNDRED PEOPLE HAD A NARROW ESCAPE.

    A BOMB BLASTED THE WINDOW OF THE TALBOT TAVERN, IN FASHINABLE DELGRAVIA, NOT FAR FROM BUCKINGHAM PALACE AND THE IRISH EMBASSY.

    A SECOND BOMB, WHICH LANDED INSIDE THE PUB, FAILED TO EXPLODE.

    THERE WAS NO WARNING.

    TWO YOUTHS WERE DETAINED BY PASSERS-BY NEAR THE PUB.

    THIS FILM CONTAINS INTERVIEWS WITH A YOUNG GIRL WHO WAS AN EYEWITNESS TO THE BOMB ATTACK, THE LANDLORD OF THE PUB, AND ASSISTANT CHIEF CONSTABLE ROWE FROM GUILDFORD.
