Background: The life and work of the outstanding Soviet ballet-dancer Galina Ulanova has been for the past thirty years closely connected with the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of the USSR. Galina Ulanova now passes on her deep feeling of spirituality and skill and opens the way to the peaks of choreographic art to her disciples, whose names are already familiar throughout the world. This film has preserved for us the last performance of Ulanova in "Chopiniana". A gala-event devoted to the 30th anniversary of the creative activity of the wonderful ballet dancer People's Artist of the USSR, L???ate of the Lenin Prize Galina Ulanova was held in the Bolshoi Theatre. For her great merited in the development of Soviet art, for her fruitful pedagogical and public activity Galina Ulanova has been awarded the honorary title of the Hero of Socialist Lbour.
