An Egyptian Parliamentary Delegation, led by M. Ahmed Khardour, visited a cattle station at Massaguaet near N'Djamena, capital of Chad, on Tuesday (January 22nd). They were on a three day visit to hold talks with Chad Parliamentarians and pay a courtesy call on President Ngarta Tombalbaye.
The delegation were greeted with singing and dancing by the inhabitant of Massaguet. They inspected the facilities for cattle rearing, including a watering trough with a capacity of over three thousand cubic metres.
The delegation left on Wednesday (23rd January) for Khartoum in Sudan.
President Tombalbaye recently expressed solidarity with Egypt when he broke off diplomatic relations with Israel during the October Arab-Israeli war.
