    ABOUT 150 PEOPLE -- WHITES AND NEGROES -- MARCHED TO THE COMMON FROM A CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND IN BOSTON'S SOUTH END (A LARGELY NEGRO DISTRICT) CARRYING PLACARDS.THERE, THEY JOINED OTHERS AND LISTENED TO A NUMBER OF SPEAKERS PRAISE MEDGAR EVERS-THE NEGRO INTEGRATION LEADER.SHOT THIS MONTH -- AND URGE BOSTON NEGROES TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN UPCOMING ELECTIONS.

    MANY OF THE DEMONSTRATORS SAND INTEGRATION SONGS.PRINCIPAL SPONSOR OF THE DEMONSTRATION WAS THE BOSTON DEPARTMENT OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF COLOURED PEOPLE.

    THE NAACP IS SEEKING TO PERSUADE BOSTON NEGROES TO REGISTER AND VOTE.WEDNESDAY'S DEMONSTRATION MARKED THE BEGINNING OF A CAMPAIGN TO GET TWELVE THOUSAND NEGROES REGISTERED IN THE NEXT THREE MONTHS.
