  • Description

Britain's Prince Charles has had a taste of life in the Arctic during his ten-day visit to Canada.

While on a visit to the Frobisher Bay Elementary School on Thursday (24 April) he was offered by the children one of the great delicacies of the Northwest Territories--raw seal's liver.

The children were learning how to skin a seal at the time.

As soon as Prince Charles ate part of the liver the doctor travelling with the royal party ran off to the nearest hospital to check that the liver would have no unpleasant side effects.

He was assured the liver was full of vitamins.
