    THE SOVIET PREMIER AND HIS PART OF TOP DIPLOMATIC OFFICERS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE ONE-DAY BREAK BETWEEN THE TWO CONFERENCE WITH PRESIDENT LYNDON JOHNSON AT GLASSBORO, NEW JERSEY TO FLY TO THE NIAGARA FALLS ON A SIGHT-SEEING TRIP. ALSO THERE WAS MR KOSYGIN'S DAUGHTER, LUDMILIA GVISHIANI.

    THE FALLS, REGARDED AS ONE OF THE MAJOR SCENIC ATTRACTIONS IN THE UNITED STATES, ARE ABOUT 300 MILES NORTH-WEST OF NEW YORK CITY ON THE BORDER BETWEEN CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES.

    THE SOVIET PARTY FLEW TO THE FALLS ON A U.S. AIR FORCE BOEING 707 JET AIRCRAFT PROVIDED BY PRESIDENT JOHNSON.

    THE PARTY WERE GREETED BY THE MAYOR OF THE TOWN OF NIAGARA FALLS, MR DENT LACKEY, WHO PRESENTED MR KOSYGIN WITH THE KEY TO THE CITY. MR KOSYGIN VIEWED THE FALLS FROM AN OBSERVATION TOWER, AND FROM EXCURSION BOAT. LATER, HE WENT TO AN ELECTRICAL POWER PLANT, AND DINED AT A RESTAURANT NEAR THE FALLS.
