    Before a crowd of 18,000 at Malmo Stadium, Sweden, April 3, Rapide (Vienna) beat I.F.K. Malmo by two goals to nothing in the second leg of their European Cup quarter final soccer match.

    After twenty-five minutes play in the first half, Milanovic, Rapide's inside-right, centred the ball for Bertalan, the outside-left, to score Rapide's first goal. The score remained at 1-0 until half-time.

    Malmo began the second half with determined attacks, but were unfortunately thwarted in every instance by the solid Rapide defence. From a corner in the twenty-sixth minute, Floegel - who did not play in the first leg - scored the visitor's second and final goal.

    As they also won the first leg in Vienna Mar 22 (2-0), the Austrian team go into the semi-final, where they will meet Benficia of Portugal.
