    THE MEETING LASTED NINETY MINUTES AND CENTRED ON THE INDIA-PAKISTAN SUMMIT MEETING. MR. SHASTRI LEAVES TOMORROW (MONDAY) FOR TASHKENT WHERE IT IS TAKING PLACE. BEFORE LEAVING HE SAID HIS REQUEST TO PRESIDENT AYUB KHAN OF PAKISTAN WOULD BE THAT THERE SHOULD BE NO RECOURSE TO ARMS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.

    MR. HEATH DESCRIBED HIS MEETING WITH MR.; SHASTRI AS VERY USEFUL.
