    President Nixon, during a new conference in Washington last night (Thursday) rejected ideas that the United States would take part in an invasion of North Vietnam by the South. He also said the U.S. would not impose a solution in the Middle East and it was up to Israel and the Arab states to reach an agreement. While rejecting intervention in any Vietnamese invasion, he warned that air strikes against the North could be resumed against supply routes and missile sites.
