Soon after their landing on October 13th the heroic crew of the Soviet space ship "Voshod" arrived in Kustanai on a specially chartered plane.

They looked well and when asked about their health, replied, "Feeling fine".

Mr. Borodin, Communist Party secretary of the Kustanai Agricultural Region, congratulated the men and presented them with medals "For opening up the Virgin Lands", plus certificates issued by the regional committee and regional executive committee.

On behalf of the crew the ship's commander, Vladimir Komarov thanked those present for the awards and the hospitality extended them, and wished the farmers success in growing big crops.
