    At a luncheon in New York on Wednesday (August 12) President Joseph Mobutu of Congo-Kinshasa discussed the development of communications in his country with Mr. Robert Sarnoff, President of the Radio corporation of American, Sheldon Vance, U.S. Ambassador to the Congo, and other R.C.A. and State Department executives.

    He said in French before entering the R.C.A. building that he had conferred during his current 12-day State Visit to the United States with as many American business executives as possible, to encourage them to participate in the economic development of his country.

    President Mobutu also viewed at the R.C.A. building a model of the television camera system that will be used on a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) satellite from 1972, gathering data on the world's natural resources.

    During his visit to the United States, President Mobutu has met President Nixon and Secretary of State Rogers at the White House, and Secretary-General U Thant at the United Nations.
