Ivory Coast President Felix Houphouet-Beigny attended a special ceremony in Abidjan on Tuesday (1 August). The occasion was the presentation of credentials of three new ambassadors to the Ivory Coast
President Houphouet-Beigny received the credentials at ceremonies hold in the Presidential Palace. The new ambassador were Colonel Gra Gonah of Ghana, Michel Kompaore of the Upper Volta and Nguyen Van Loc of South Vietnam.
The Ivorian President expressed confidence that relations between the three represented countries and the Ivory Coast would continue in the spirit of mutual cooperation and understanding.
