    THE TWO LEADERS INSPECTED A GUARD OF HONOUR AT THE AIRPORT AND THEN MET LOCAL DIGNITARIES INCLUDING THE GOVERNOR OF THE ISLAND. THERE WAS A LARGE CROWD PRESENT TOO -- AND THE BRIGHT COSTUMES OF THE BALINESE GIRLS ADDED A NOTE OF COLOUR OF THE RECEPTION.

    AT THE END OF THE CEREMONIES MR MIKOYAN AND DR SUBANDRIO LEFT BY AIR FOR BANDUNG.

    (MR MIKOYAN HAS NOW LEFT INDONESIA FOR HOME. A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF HIS TALKS WITH THE INDONESIAN PRESIDENT, DR. SUKARNO, SAID THAT INDONESIA AND THE SOVIET UNION HAD REACHED "COMPLETE AGREEMENT ON POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC ISSUES". THE COMMUNIQUE ADDED THAT AGREEMENT WAS REACHED "IN THE FRAMEWORK OF ARMS DELIVERY TO THE ARMED FORCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA." THE TEXT DID NOT ELABORATE ON THIS.)
