    Background: The much announced Civil Disobedience movement by the Non ??? Opposition more or less petered out in Delhi today. However large police arrangements were made in Chandni Chowk, the historic main street of Old Delhi ..a witness to many a historic events. Two groups of four each appeared from amongst the crowd shouting slogans for Jai Prakash Narain and proclaiming victory to total revolution. They were promptly arrested by the police. One lone political worker was also spotted from the crowd and picked up. He put up a stiff resistance and was released when finally a police officer felt satisfied that he wasn't involved with breaking the law. A group of enthusiastic onlookers, majority of them young people shouted slogans from nearby bye lanes and streets.
