  • Description

Cuban Premier Fidel Castro went fishing 13-15 May, and in a three-day tourney won three cups in the Marlin contest named after writer Ernest Hemingway (whose best-selling "The Old Man and the Sea" dealt with the adventures of a Cuban fisherman).

Sailing aboard the 'Cristal', Castro had a fine marlin catch when he arrived back into the Barlavento Fishing Club in Havana, Cuba - and writer Ernest Hemingway was on hand to congratulate him.

A pleasant relaxation for the Cuban Premier, whose activities in Cuba constantly keep him on the move.
