    THE CONFERENCE LASTED LESS THAN THREE HOURS. NO AGENDA WAS ISSUED BEFORE THE TALKS, AND NO STATEMENT AFTERWARDS, IT'S BELIEVED THAT DISCUSSION COVERED EAST AFRICAN ECONOMIC COOPERATION AND TACTICS AT THE FORTHCOMING ORGANISATION OF AFRICAN UNITY (OAU) CONFERENCE IN ADDIS ABABA, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE ON RHODESIA.

    PRESIDENT'S KENNETH KAUNDA AND JULIUS NYERERE RETURNED HOME TODAY. ON HIS RETURN PRESIDENT KAUNDA FORECAST INCREASING COOPERATION BETWEEN ZAMBIA AND EAST AFRICAN COUNTRIES IN TRANSPORT AND RELATED FIELDS. HE DESCRIBED THE KAMPALA MEETING AS "VERY, VERY USEFUL INDEED" AND ADDED THAT RHODESIA HAD BEEN AMONG SUBJECTS DISCUSSED.
