Scores of internationally known personalities packed the hill-top church, where a U.S. Air Force detachment guarded the solid bronze coffin. Pallbearers were Spencer Tracy, Robert Taylor and James Stewart. Among the 200 mourners:-gossip columnist Louella Parsons; Virginia Gray; Ann Southern with her daughter; Norma Shearer, one of Clark Gable's leading ladies; and his fifth wife, Kay, who is expecting a child in a few months.
