    Background: Brazil's most modern composer, HEITOR VILLA LOBOS, famous all over the world for his many symphonic works, died at Rio, after uremic illness.

    Maestro' Villa Lobos composed over 2000 pices, including 8 operas. He was Brazil's most famous living composer.

    The morgue was erected at Rio's Ministry of Education building, where public visitation took place.

    Later, the coffin was transported to the cemetery, on a fire-squad, blank veiled truck, which passed Rio's famous opera house, where the Rio symphonic orchestra played a funeral march in honour of the great deceased.
