    Belgium's Foreign Minister Eyskens arrived in Bonn, October 20, for talks with West Germany's Chancellor Adenauer on the excess of coals stocks in both countries.

    The talks, held at the Palais Schaumburg, official residence of the Chancellor, followed discussions between economy ministers and trade union chiefs of both countries.

    The main topic of yesterday's talks was to find practical measures to reduce stocks of which Germany had some ten million tons.

    Many coal mines were forced to stop working for one shift. Some workers were stood off in the Ruhr. Huge dumps rose at Mulheim and Essen - in this film.
