    The Prime Ministers of Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore agreed during a four hour summit in Kuala Lumpur in Sunday (18 June), that greater international concern should be shown for the plight of Indochinese refugees.

    The three leaders said they saw the situation as a "human tragedy", and viewed the matter with concern.

    Informed sources said the premiers exchanged views on ways of coping with the continuing exodus of Vietnamese refugees to their countries. Singapore's Lee Kwan Yew, Malaysia's Datuk Hussein Onn, and Malcolm Fraser of Australia also agreed during their talks on closer cooperation in solving common economic problems.
