Two goals each from Guedioura and Chabi helped USKA of Algiers to a comfortable 4-0 victory over USM El Harrach in an Algerian National Soccer Championships match in Algiers on Saturday (7 January). It was only 1-0 at half time, but after the interval USKA piled on the pressure and might well have won by an even bigger score.
SYNOPSIS: USKA in the red, playing from left to right, kicked off before a crowd of 50,000 and only three minutes later missed a penalty.
USKA continued to dictate play and Belakhal in the El Harrach goal was in action to save a long range-right-foot shot.
More USKA pressure followed, and in the 29th minute Guedioura nipped in to score the only goal of the first half.
At the start of the second half El Harrach tried to find some sort of rhythm, but they had difficulty in stringing more than a few passes together.
More goals from USKA always seemed likely and Guedioura got a second after some neat work by Chabi.
El Harrach tried hard to et back into the game, but they posed few problems for USKA.
USKA went further ahead in the 53rd minute, when a Chabi shot was deflected away from the wrong - footed Belakhal.
El Harrach spent most of the game pinned back in their own half, and their attacks were few and far between. What positive football there was nearly all came from USKA.
USKA's final goal came from Chabi in the 63rd minute.
