    EVENING MAIL, AN AMERICAN ENTRY, WAS RIDDEN BY MISS SARA LORD. BOTH HORSE AND RIDER HAVE COMPETED IN TRIALS IN THE UNITED STATES.

    STEEL COLUMN, A TOP CHALLENGER, WAS RIDDEN BY MISS JUDY BILLINGTON, OF WARWICKSHIRE. THE GELDING, CLASSIFIED AS AGED, HAS BEEN A TRIAL WINNER AT BADMINTON.

    NUMBER 19, BEN DOURIE, A NINE YEAR OLD, HAS COMPETED SUCCESSFULLY AT MANY TRIALS, MAINLY IN SCOTLAND. THE GELDING WAS RIDDEN BY ITS OWNER, MISS ROMY TULLOCH, ONE OF SCOTLAND'S TOP EQUESTRIANS.

    NUMBER 28 WAS PREVIOUSLY AN OLYMPIC COMPETITOR, WINNING A SILVER MEDAL AT THE TOKYO OLYMPICS FOR THE ARGENTINE. THE ELEVEN YEAR OLD GELDING IS NOW OWNED BY MR. W. HAGGARD OF NEW JERSEY, A PROMINENT AMERICAN FANCIER.

    PETIT PRINCE, COMPETING WITH THE JAPANESE TEAM IS A NINE YEAR OLD GELDING OWNED AND RIDDEN BY MR. M. OGAWA. BOTH HORSE AND RIDER COMPETED IN THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS LAST MONTH.
