Background: Again, like 50 years ago the Zygmunt Bell resounds. This way Cracow takes farewell of its great men. Today it is the 50th Anniversary of death of the outstanding Polish poet, playwright and painter Stanislaw Wyspianski.
This anniversary inaugurates the celebrations of the Wyspianski Year, which started with laying wreaths on the sarcophagus of the great artists.
On the same day a bust of Wyspianski was unveiled in the Palace of Art.
Streets of the Cracow. Here he lived and died. Here is his favourite cafe "Maurizius".
He was an ingenious men, always full of new ideas. On tissue paper he sketched off hand caricatures.
