    Background: At a press conference in Vienna's Hotel Prince Eugen Jan. 24, Princess Soraya, former wife of the Shah of Persia, announced that she had become a co-director in a British firm that manufactures small cars featuring moulded fibre-glass bodies.

    Mr Noble, of York Noble Industries Ltd, said a four-wheel version of the "Nobel-200" -normally a three-wheel vehicle - would be produced in Austria shortly. Unfortunately for the organisers, the main purpose of the press conference - to publicize the "Nobel-200" - was sidetracked, as newsmen fired question after question at the usually inaccessible Princess Soraya".

    Details of the "Nobel-200":
    Body - Moulded fibre-glass. Advantages: corrosion free-increased safety factor - exceptional strength - negligible maintenance - and damage easily repaired.

    Engine- 200 c.c. air-cooled single cylinder Sachs two-stroke, developing 10.2 b.h.p. at 5, 250 r.p.m.

    Transmission - four-speed synchromesh gearbox integral with engine.

    Fuel Mixture - 1x25 oil/petrol
    Length - 126 inches.

    Width - 55 inches.

    Height - 51 inches.

    Wheelbase - 81 inches.

    Ground Clearance - 9 inches.

    Dry Weight- 672 pounds.
