    In the grounds of the Marble Palace in Teheran April 8, the Shah of Persia distributed land deeds to 100 representative of almost three thousand farmers in northern Persia.

    Some years ago the Shah began a policy of distributing his Royal lands to the people of Persia. This latest distribution constitutes the largest grant to-date. Forty-one villages - covering 17,732 acres in Gorgan, Gombade, Ghaboos, and Shahsavar in the northern region bordering the Casplan Sea - were given to 2,678 farmers.
