  • Description

Continuing their European tour the Canadian Ice Hockey Team played Stockholm's Three Crowns Club, Feb 15, at the Johanneshov Stadium.

Swedish ice star Tumba Johansson wasn't playing, he broke a bone in his right hand recently. Without this idol of Swedish ice-hockey crowds Three Crowns was a poor side.

Within five minutes of the start Hildebrand scored for Canada. Ten minutes later McLellan put the puck into the Swedish net. Sweden eventually scored but Canada replied, through McFarlands, making the score 3-1 to Canada.

In the last minutes of the final period Canada scored again, humiliating the home team on home ground with a 4 goals to 1.

Best man in Canadian team was Al Dewsbury but the general opinion was that as a whole this team was not as good as the Canadian Whitby Dunlops who played in Sweden last year.
