SYNOPSIS: In the floor exercises the title went to 11 year-old Irina Breighina from Alma Ata. She performed an impressive number of complex routines at a standard worthy of her more senior colleagues.

Andrei Saifulin, a 16-year-old student studying physical education in Donetsk, put on a brilliant performance on the bar. Watch for his unique dismount -- a double marched somersault with a double turn through 360 degrees.

Another 11-year-old talent was Natasha Taritsa from Odessa. She has spent four years at the sport, and took the asymmetric bars title with ease.
