Background: A three-man committee which will investigate the assets of members of the deposed Busia government has begun hearings in Accra.
The inaugural meeting was held at the Burma Military Camp in Accra on Tuesday (22 Feb).
The committee is meeting following last month's Government decree which stated that the assets of the deposed Prime Minister, his cabinet ministers, ministerial secretaries and their views were to be forfeited and vested in the state.
Following the decree members of the deposed Government were ordered to complete questionnaires about their assets -- and it is these questionnaires which are being studied by the committee
